The Château de Vaugien has been the setting for around a hundred filming sessions, including that of episode 5 of "The Negotiator." TF1/Jonty Champelovier

Do you recognize it? The facade of the castle in front of which the group of friends park, before their escape game turns into a hostage situation in episode 5 of "The Negotiator" , broadcast this Monday at 9:10 p.m. on TF1 ? If so, there's a good chance you've watched one of the latest "Captain Marleau" , on France 2 , or "Ghosts: Ghosts in Heritage" , on Disney + .

This is the third time in a few weeks that the Château de Vaugien , nestled in a green setting in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse (Yvelines), has appeared on screen. But since Patrice Chéreau knocked on the door of this 19th-century building more than twenty years ago, the residence has hosted around a hundred film shoots.
